Description: We are India (Delhi) based looking to outsource our requirement of Data Entry Service. We are looking for Digitization of Old Records. The duration of the contract is 8 months.
Scope:
1. Digital Conversion of Existing old Documents: As part of Digitization Project old records (including files, letters, reports, statements graphs, etc) of all types are required to be scanned with proper indexing for easy retrieval (e-cataloguing).
2. Document Type & Size: The documents may be categorized as per following parameters:
a. Type: Files, Note sheet, Letters, Books, Manuals, Excel Sheets statements, Maps & photographs, graphs (different sizes) etc.
b. Size: A4 / letter / Legal/A3 size/A2 Size / any other size (one sided or both sided, as the case may be) Majority of office files will be A-4 and legal size
c. Color: Documents are black and white or color, typed / handwritten / printed papers etc. Scanning should be done at 200 dpi B/W for B/W pages and colored where document is colored and specifically indicated for color.
3. Service Provider should deploy sufficient skilled manpower and set up a lab in the premises of our department/sections with the required hardware (i.e. computers, Scanners, ups, etc.) and software. The space, basic furniture, electricity etc would be provided by us.
4. VOLUME: There would be an approximate of 800000 pages. Service Provider will have to scan & index minimum 3000 documents per day.
5. Service Provider is required to provide the complete database along with structure so as to enable to use / share the above database with the other applications.
6. Scanned images are subject to quality check and must be rescanned if any image is not up to the mark.
This is an on shore and off site tender. The EMD is 24000 INR. Interested service providers are requested to contact no later than April, 20, 2010, 2:00 PM by courier, post or email. Service providers may have to visit our premises for meetings or briefings. Please refer the attachment for more details.
