Description: We are US based looking to outsource our requirement of Data Entry Service. We are looking for conversion of paper by imaging service. It is anticipated the project will take 3 to 4 years to complete.
Scope:
1. Approximate number of images 5.2 million. The documents are contained in about 2,100 fifteen-inch boxes.
2. The majority of the documents are 8.5 x 11 inch format with less than 5% being undersized or oversized.
3. The majority of the documents are black and white with less than 5% requiring color. Four index fields will be required.
4. There are five major categories of documents to be imaged which are:
i. Older Laboratory case files - 2200000 images ii) Blood alcohol reports -18000 images iii) Polygraph files - 125000 images iv) Property record and receipt - 590000 images v) Newer case files - 2200000 images.
5. Work needed:
a. Transportation of the documents
b. Document preparation
c. Document imaging
d. Image enhancement and cleanup
e. Indexing (4 fields)
f. Verification (100% page to image verification for completeness and legibility)
g Deliver document images (PDF/A) on a hard drive or other mutually agreeable format
h. Return transportation of CD’s, negatives, tapes in original folders
i. Document destruction.
This is an on shore and off site tender. The first year cost shall not exceed 125000 USD. Interested service providers are requested to contact no later than May, 21, 2010 by courier, post or email. Service providers may have to visit our premises for meetings or briefings. Please refer the attachment for more details.
