Description: We are US based looking to outsource our requirement of Data Entry Service. We are looking for conversion of books into digital format. The duration of the contract is 1 year with the possibility of further extension for 4 years.
Scope:
1. production of e-books files converted from digital and analog formatting, requiring such operations as scanning analog books to pdf files, converting pdf and InDesign files to e-book formatting, lossy-compression of encoding ZIP files, burning to DVD, printing the title on the DVD, packing and delivery.
2. Approximately 12 orders a year (monthly). Each order will have 2 to 5 book per order, with an average of 3 books per order
3. The page count per book will be approximately 64 pages per book.
4. Approximately 30% of the orders will be paper books requiring scanning and 70% of the orders will have the books in a digital format.
This is an on shore and off site tender. Interested service providers are requested to contact no later than April, 26, 2011 by courier, post or email. Service providers may have to visit our premises for meetings or briefings. Please refer the attachment for more details.
